To complete your initial mortgage consultation your Adviser will let you know everything they require from you. Generally, they will need to see the following documentation:

  • Details of existing financial commitments
  • An overview of your income and expenditure
  • Existing mortgage arrangements
  • Details of your credit history (please visit our Credit Reports page if you need help obtaining a report)

We are based in a small village called Upham situated between Southampton and Winchester, however each of our advisors work with clients throughout the UK on a daily basis. Read more about Upham and surrounding areas here

All our advisors are experienced in helping clients over the phone, internet, e.g. Zoom or Teams, and also face-to-face. We have a spacious office with meeting rooms where you can chat with your adviser in private and in comfort.

For Financial & Mortgage Planning, your initial consultation will be completely free of charge. Following on from a chat with an adviser there may be a fee for our service and these vary depending on the type of assistance you need. Your adviser will agree these fees with you before moving forward with any plans and they will be set out in our Authority to Proceed document.

There are various ways in which we might receive payment for our advice and services. We may receive commission from a mortgage lender (known as a procuration fee) or insurance provider. Should we receive any commission, we will disclose this amount to you by way of a mortgage illustration or quotation. We may also receive an introducer fee should we pass your specialist professional adviser. If this happens we also disclose this to you.

This varies depending on a number of factors. It could be as quick as six weeks but it could take up to three months. Always be guided by your Adviser and their administrator as they will chase the application through and help avoid any delays.

Not a problem. You can email your Adviser or their Administrator and let them know your query. Alternatively, you can call the Office on 01489 876574 and speak to them directly and they will do their best to answer any queries there and then. During busy periods, their may be a short delay.
